Markets
Markets is the hub where sAERO holders (Token Operators) allocate, directing new emissions (AERO Rewards) to pools. In exchange, they receive Exchange Revenue streaming continuously from the pools where they have allocated.
Each allocation is a prediction of where liquidity is needed across the ecosystem, and together those predictions decide how AERO Rewards are split across pools. This is Predictive Allocation, and Markets is where it happens in the app.
This is a unique role in the ecosystem. Token Operators decide which pools the protocol rewards, AERO Rewards draw liquidity to those pools, and deeper liquidity enhances trading. Because of that loop, Markets is central to the Aero token economy.
What it is
Markets has three tabs:
- Pools. Lists pools with their recent fees, upcoming incentives, estimated rewards, Stake APR, and current allocation.
- Launching. Lists pools for tokens that are about to launch or have just launched on Aero.
- Allocate. Where a Token Operator sets how each sAERO stake's Allocation Power is split across pools.
The Pools tab
Each row is one pool, showing its token pair, fee tier, network, and pool type. Pools on every supported network appear in one list, which can be searched, filtered, and sorted. A floating widget showing the stake's total Allocation Power stays visible on every tab.
| Figure | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Fees past 48H | The trading fees the pool generated over the past 48 hours. The percentage under the figure shows how fees changed against the previous window. |
| Incentives 48H | The Liquidity Payments and Launch Payments scheduled to stream to the pool's Token Operators over the next 48 hours. Hovering the Incentives link on a row shows each program's timing: when it starts streaming, its start and end dates, and its interval. |
| Est. Rewards 48H | The estimated total that Token Operators allocating to the pool will share over the next 48 hours. It adds recent trading fees to Incentives 48H. |
| Stake APR | An annualized estimate of what Allocation Power directed to the pool would earn. It is a projection, and moves as trading volume changes, as incentive programs start or end, and as Allocation Power shifts. |
| Allocation | The total Allocation Power currently directed to the pool. Allocate, below the figure, opens the allocation flow for that pool. |
The Launching tab
The Launching tab uses the same columns as the Pools tab, limited to pools for tokens launching or recently launched on Aero. Each row carries a status: SOON with a countdown to launch, or LAUNCHED once trading has started.
Before a launch, a pool has no trading history, so Fees past 48H and Stake APR read zero. Incentives 48H shows the Launch Payments scheduled for the pool. Until trading starts, Incentives 48H and Est. Rewards 48H display in the launching token rather than in dollars. Allocation Power directed to a pool before its Launch Payments start streaming earns nothing from them until streaming begins, and the allocation starts the stake's cooldown like any other.
The Allocate tab
The Allocate tab shows one card per sAERO stake, with its Allocation Power and how much of it is still unallocated. Each card carries a status: Ready, with a Save allocation button, while a split is being set; Allocated, with the cooldown time left, once it is saved; or Autopilot when the stake's allocation is automated. A stake on Autopilot shows no pool rows to edit.
How to use Predictive Allocation in Markets
Step 1: Choose pools
Select Allocate on any pool in the Pools or Launching tab to add it to a stake's card.
Step 2: Set the split
Enter a percentage of the stake's Allocation Power for each pool, or use the quick-set options (0, 10, 25, 50, 100). The card shows how much Allocation Power remains unallocated. Select the trash icon on a row to remove that pool from the card.
Step 3: Save and sign
Select Save allocation and sign the transaction in the wallet. If the allocation spans more than one network, Aero moves the Allocation Power to each network and shows each one's status until all are confirmed. In the app this appears as a Redirect allocation step for each network, an Allocate step that saves the final split, and an Allocation confirmed notice. Allocations take effect immediately.
Allocation cooldown
Saving an allocation starts a cooldown on that stake before its allocation can change again. Exchange Revenue keeps accruing during the cooldown. A stake's allocation can change again 47 hours after it was last saved.
How the figures are calculated
The figures in the Markets table are calculated by Aero from pool activity. They are estimates for comparing pools, not values stored onchain.
| Figure | What it shows | How it's calculated |
|---|---|---|
| Fees past 48H | The trading fees the pool generated over the past 48 hours. | All the trading fees the pool collected over the past 48 hours, added together. |
| Incentives 48H | The Liquidity Payments and Launch Payments scheduled to stream to the pool's Token Operators over the next 48 hours. | Each incentive program pays out at a steady rate. Incentives 48H takes the share of each program that falls in the next 48 hours and adds them up. |
| Est. Rewards 48H | The estimated total that Token Operators allocating to the pool will share over the next 48 hours. | The part of Fees past 48H earned by AERO-earning liquidity, plus Incentives 48H. |
| Stake APR | An annualized estimate of what Allocation Power directed to the pool would earn. A projection, not a guaranteed return. | Estimated Rewards 48H divided by the value of Allocation Power in the pool gives the return for one 48-hour period. That is multiplied by 182.5, the number of 48-hour periods in a year. |
| Allocation | The total Allocation Power currently directed to the pool, shown against the pool's Cap on hover. | Each stake's Allocation Power multiplied by the share it sends to this pool, added up across every stake. |
Getting started
Allocating requires an sAERO stake. Allocation Power comes from the amount of AERO staked and the stake duration remaining. Open Markets in the Aero app, select Allocate on a pool, and set the split on the Allocate tab.
