Liquidity deposits
Fixes for a liquidity deposit that isn't earning, won't show up, or didn't behave the way you expected when you changed it.
My deposit isn't earning anything
First check the deposit's reward type. An AERO-earning deposit accrues AERO Rewards and no fees; a Fee-earning deposit accrues fees and no AERO.
If the reward type and gauge are both as expected, the cause is usually range. A concentrated (Slipstream) deposit only earns while its range covers the current trading price. Outside that range it stops earning until price returns or the range is moved, and the AERO directed to the pool in the meantime goes to in-range deposits instead. It is never paid retroactively. A custom range can drift out and need adjusting by hand; a full-range deposit never goes out of range. None of this applies to Basic Pool deposits, which are always active across the full price curve. See Slipstream, Gauges, and Slipstream liquidity management.
I can't find my deposit, or it isn't showing the way I expected
Slipstream deposits are NFTs. Each one is its own token ID with its own range, shown individually in your Portfolio. Basic Pool deposits are fungible LP tokens instead, so multiple deposits to the same pool combine into a single balance. If you were expecting one to behave like the other, check which pool type you're in. Also check the network: the same pair can exist on more than one network Aero operates on, and the Portfolio should show you all of your LP deposits. See Slipstream and Basic Pools.
My token ratio looks imbalanced compared to what I deposited
This reflects the two tokens' prices diverging since deposit, not a malfunction. Concentrated (Slipstream) deposits can intensify the effect within its range. A Slipstream deposit that has left its range is a further case: as price moves through a range the liquidity is progressively traded into the token falling in relative value, and once price exits the range that conversion is complete, leaving the deposit holding one token. Either way the loss is only realized on withdrawal while prices are still diverged. See Slipstream and Slipstream liquidity management.
I can't remove or withdraw my liquidity
Withdrawals are never blocked by design. You can withdraw part or all of a deposit at any time, and there is no lockup. Withdrawing an AERO-earning deposit early has a cost rather than a block: see the early-exit forfeit above. If a withdrawal transaction itself is failing, that's a wallet or network issue, not a liquidity lock. See Liquidity and Trades and transactions.
I got extra leftover tokens back that I didn't expect
Adding liquidity rarely uses tokens in exactly the right ratio, so whatever's left over, the dust, returns to your wallet automatically at the end of the transaction, at no extra cost. That's expected behavior, not a stray or lost amount.
