Wallet and connection

Fixes for a wallet that won't connect, shows the wrong account, or is asking for something that looks off.

My wallet won't connect

Make sure your wallet extension or app is unlocked and that you've allowed its connection popup. Browsers sometimes block it silently. Refresh the page and try Connect again, and confirm you're using a supported wallet (a standard EVM wallet, connected directly or via WalletConnect). If it still won't connect, clear your browser cache and reload, and check that you're on the network you mean to be using. A different browser, or connecting a mobile wallet over WalletConnect, is a reliable fallback.

I connected the wrong wallet or account

Disconnect from inside the app (select your address, then Disconnect), or switch the active account in your wallet, then reconnect. Some wallets let you choose which account to share at the moment you connect. See Crypto fundamentals FAQ: Wallets and getting connected.

A token or balance I expect isn't showing

Switching networks doesn't move your balances. It only changes which network the app is reading. If a token isn't showing, you're often simply connected to a different network than the one it's on. Switch networks in your wallet, or approve the network-switch prompt the app shows you, and check again. See Crypto fundamentals FAQ: Tokens, networks, and gas.

An approval or signature request looks unfamiliar, or asks for more than I expected

Check the token, the spender, and the amount in your wallet's confirmation screen before signing anything. A legitimate Aero action only ever asks to spend the token you're actually swapping or depositing. If the request names a token you aren't transacting in, or a spending cap you didn't choose, decline it and re-initiate the action from the app rather than approving and hoping it's fine. See the Crypto fundamentals FAQ.

I think I approved something malicious or got phished

Stop using that wallet first. Move any remaining funds to a new wallet, from a device you trust, before you do anything else. Revoking an approval doesn't help if the attacker can still spend from a permission you haven't found yet. Then revoke the approvals on the old wallet (see above), and open a support ticket through Aero Support with the affected address so the team has a record. No legitimate support contact will ever DM you first or ask for your recovery phrase. If that's how this started, don't respond further, and treat any past or future message from that contact as a scam. See Crypto fundamentals FAQ: Safety and scams.
